John Rankin, III

John Rankin, III is the Associate Managing Director and primary producer for the award-winning, Off-Broadway, political theatre, Castillo Theatre. He began volunteering with Castillo in 2009 after appearing in Heiner Müller’s The Task. He is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, is a member of the NYC Rep Ensemble, and is an improviser with the Castillo Theatre’s Pop-Up Improv. His performance credits include: ReSurgents and the AUDELCO Award-winning Playing with Heiner Müller, Matata and Dan Friedman’s Jesse James: An American Tragedy. John is also the program manager for the All Stars Project’s youth development program, Youth Onstage!
