Russ McMahon has been teaching Information Technology related subject matter since 1980 and has been a faculty member at the University of Cincinnati since 1999. He began his improv journey after attending a Design Thinking meetup in 2016 where improvisation was used for ideation. In January-2017 he started taking improv classes and since October-2017, he has given talks/workshops at mostly tech conferences including the 2018 eLearning Africa conference held in Rwanda. He recently worked at Miras University in Kazakhstan where amongst other things he taught improvisation to students and faculty. This coming September, he will be a keynote speaker at a computing education conference in Peru.
